Olympic Farewell

Well tonight we said farewell to the Olympics. It is a goodbye that I say with sadness, as the stories I have witnessed of tragedy and triumph have inspired and entertained me in ways that "real" tv never seems to do. (excluding the Discovery Channel and History Channel and Animal Planet)
My favorite sport for these last 16 days? Downhill
My most watched sport? Curling

In other news

Laura Searcy came to Illinois this weekend, well for a day and a morning, for an interview in Bloomington. We had a good time with her.

The snow is almost completely gone now, and it is even supposed to get warmer! Thats just nuts. I am excited to see things a little greener.

Brittany here, sorry it's taken us so long to move this blog. I wish I could tell you what happened with iWeb, but I will leave it by saying that it doesn't like me much. So here's the attempt at blogging 2.0. I will echo Scott and say what are we supposed to do now without the Olympics? I wish I had an answer.....London 2012!!! hahah but Thursday night 8-9pm THE OFFICE BABY! It is sad I am so excited about it!

My favorite Olympic sport? Figure Skating. Will be always. Most watched? let me echo Scott again and say CURLING. I love it, even if the US sucks at it, we aren't completely sure about all the rules yet but are pretty sure we love the sport. Maybe we'll get married at a curling match. HAHA just kidding.

Migration season starts soon, we have something to look forward to! I would really like to go back to BC this summer, at least I get to go to Orcas Island right? Darn those British Columbia tourism commercials making me miss the West Coast.

Anyways, let's review: iWeb hates us, the Olympics are over :(, curling rocks, birdies are beginning to migrate, guests are fun. Stay tuned :)

Off to bed!
